WaterFurnace's network of independent dealers contain some of the most experienced and well-trained contractors in the industry. It's important to us that we choose the right relationships so that we know your ground source heat pumps are installed correctly and efficiently. After that relationship is created, we provide WaterFurnace-specific training courses to teach contractors the correct and best practices for installation. Correct installations are vital in getting the best out of your geothermal system for years to come.

Direct Relationships

WaterFurnace provides our independent dealers with direct communication with the factory as well as a dedicated territory manager to assist them in the field. They can contact our customer service, warranty, technical support, and training departments as well as receive marketing assistance, credit information, and consumer relations support when they need it. This unique relationship is important in how dealers do business — which in turn affects the level of service and support you receive as a homeowner.

Only a portion of our independent dealers are invited to join the GeoPro program and each must maintain certain levels of WaterFurnace experience, training, and sales.

Dealers earn ratings based on the length of experience with WaterFurnace geothermal heat pumps. You can rest assured that five-star dealers have had at least 5 years of WaterFurnace geothermal heat pump installations under their belt.

5 or more years as a dealer
3-4 years as a dealer
0-2 years as a dealer
training requirement badge

Training is important to GeoPro dealers. Our program rewards them for attending WaterFurnace classes and also for IGSHPA certification. Dealers must have sent someone to WaterFurnace training in the last 24 months to maintain GeoPro status.
