Description

What makes the WaterFurnace Sales Team different from the rest? We have long-term relationships with our Dealers. WaterFurnace sells the leading geothermal product in the residential market. Our Salesforce Customer Service system is top-tier. Our training program not only equips you for success in this role, but also includes career advancement opportunity & tuition reimbursement.

We're seeking a Inside Sales professional to make business-to-business outbound phone calls to a select group of WaterFurnace's network of Dealers, to promote and support incremental sales. This FLSA Exempt salaried position requires up to 10 percent travel.

Responsibilities:

Outbound Sales Calls & Telemarketing (80%):

  • Calling Dealers — selling and marketing WaterFurnace.
  • Communicating the value proposition, product features and benefits.
  • Capturing sales orders and leads.
  • Driving promotions and campaigns.

Dealer / Territory Manager Inquiries and Emails (20%)

  • Answer Dealer questions.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (GED). Related college coursework or degree preferred.
Education Requirements:
  • Experience: At least three (3) years of outbound telephone sales support experience with an established customer base. Demonstrated record of accomplishment with a consultative approach and facilitative skill set. Experience in a commercial or business-to-business technical products environment is preferred.
Skills and Competencies Required:
  • Foster teamwork within WaterFurnace and with Dealers. Consistently provide a professional and upbeat telephone experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team when solving challenges.
  • Draw upon strong written and verbal skills.
  • Reliably pay attention to detail.
  • Show courtesy and, at the same time, a sense of urgency.
  • Always convey an eagerness to learn and to take on additional responsibility.
  • Possess previous experience with an order fulfillment system.

Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Description

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Mechanical Engineer contributes full time design support to the team efforts for both project and development engineering of our new and existing products, including developing and analyzing lab tests, facilitating vendor interface, arranging field trials, and providing creative solutions to support the engineering product team goals.

Drawing on a solid working knowledge of refrigeration systems and HVAC installation and service as well as typical plumbing and electrical practices, your accountabilities will include:

  • Developing potential HVAC designs using lab and/or computer modeling data, with responsibility for any specific projects assigned.
  • Supporting engineering lab testing and test unit development.
  • Acquiring and analyzing field data, as needed.
  • Designing and developing test apparatus and procedures, as needed.
  • Complying with all WaterFurnace International and OSHA policies, procedures, specifications, and standards.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Three or more years of design experience in the development and manufacture of Air Source heat pumps.
  • Working knowledge of refrigeration systems and HVAC installation and service as well as typical plumbing and electrical practices.
  • Electrical wiring and schematic reading, and general troubleshooting.
  • Software skills: mid-level Visio, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
  • Refrigeration theory and broad geothermal product knowledge.
  • General HVAC installation and service skills.
  • General knowledge of plumbing and electrical practices.
  • Project management skills.
Preferred:
  • Broad geothermal product knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Basic is a plus

Production Assembler

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Our geothermal units feature unique functionalities that include home energy management, advanced zoning systems, and variable capacity technology. These features work together to optimize equipment performance.

Description

Our Assemblers combine their skills and efforts in a team environment.

Your accountabilities will include the following:

  • Use powered hand tools, brazing torch, lift tables, hand-held scanner, and forklift.
  • Install couplers, vacuum lines, copper tubing, wiring, and sheet metal panels.
  • Cross-train on different assembly stations.
  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM until 2:00 AM.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Any related experience.
  • Ability to lift heavy items.
Preferred:
  • High School degree or GED.
  • Related vocational coursework.
  • Welding experience.

Region Sales Manager — West, Central/NE, and South Regions

Location: West, Central/Northeast, and South Regions

We're seeking qualified Region Sales Manager candidates to fill three immediate openings in the West, Central/Northeast, and South regions.

This FLSA Exempt salaried position requires more than 50 percent travel.

Responsibilities:

Outbound Sales Calls & Telemarketing (80%):

  • Manage Residential Sales in the assigned Region: Develop Sales Plans and evaluate results.
  • Work with Internal WaterFurnace departments: Communicate and work with Finance, Customer Service, Marketing, and other related functional partners.
  • Work with existing Dealers: Evaluate Dealer performance with Territory Managers and take action as needed to improve Dealers' performance.
  • Evaluate Territory Managers' performance: Coach to close performance gaps, relying on regular communication and ride-alongs.
  • Provide support to Territory Managers: Assist TMs with solving challenging problems, and pass solutions along to other TMs to proactively address future issues.
  • Manage administrative activity: Evaluate TMs' monthly reports, including approval of expense reports, special pricing, procurements, and invoices.

Qualifications:


Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). College coursework or degree in related field preferred.
Experience Requirements:
  • Three or more (3+) years of related B2B sales management experience required.
  • Experience selling via a Dealer Sales channel.
  • Competent User of Salesforce CRM software.
