Plenum Fan for Quiet and Efficient Operation
A variable speed integrated ECM plenum fan is featured with a two-inch w.g. C.S.P. capability. Since no belts or sheaves are utilized, the plenum fan will provide long-lasting quiet comfort for years to come.
Integrated Economizer Control
The Versatec 500 Rooftop features integrated economizer controls via temperature or enthalpy, network economizer control, demand control ventilation, electronic feedback error detection, and factory-calibrated economizer sensors for the ultimate in control.
Aurora Controls for Flexibility and Monitoring
Energy, refrigerant, and performance monitoring are featured in the Versatec 500 Rooftop to provide insight into all aspects of system operation. Aurora allows connections with 4-wire communicating thermostats while the UPC DDC allow for building automation using N2, or BACnet.
Reliability is Key
Long component life and reliability is vital in commercial applications. That's why we feature all-aluminum rifled tube-and-fin air coils as well as corrosion-proof composite or stainless steel drain pans to provide the building a long lifetime of reliable system operation.
Flexible Factory-Installed Options
We offer many convenient factory-installed options including hot gas reheat for advanced humidity control. Other options are internally mounted secondary drain connections as well as internal water valves and/or flow regulators for variable speed pumping systems.

Coated Coil
AlumiSeal coated aluminum air coil option is available for even more protection and to meet code requirements.
Phase Guard
A factory-mounted phase guard device is available to protect the compressor against loss of phase.
Power Disconnect
An internally mounted non-fused power dial disconnect is also an option to avoid scheduling problems with the electrical contractor.
IntelliStart
The optional IntelliStart soft starter will reduce the normal start current (LRA) by up to 60% to reduce light flicker, start-up noise, and to extend the compressor life.
