WaterFurnace, Tower Bank Promoting State Program

WaterFurnace and Tower Bank Work Together for Special Financing Program
The program offers consumers financing with an annual percentage rate (APR) as low as 7.289% and allows years for repayment. It also allows Indiana consumers to take advantage of a recently launched state program, which offers a rebate of up to $2,000 when a geothermal system replaces an existing heating and cooling system.

"Now is the perfect time for homeowners to realize the environmental and energy-saving benefits of a geothermal system," said Bruce Ritchey, president of WaterFurnace. "There's no reason to wait until their existing heating and cooling system breaks down and needs to be replaced. The energy savings of a geothermal system really puts them in the driver's seat."

State's Program Features $500,000 in Rebates
On Oct. 1, the Indiana Office of Energy & Defense Development rolled out a Geothermal Heat Pump Residential Rebate Program to promote the use of geothermal heating and cooling systems.  The $500,000 program offers rebates to homeowners who replace a traditional heating and cooling system.

The rebate program is being administered by the Indiana Office of Energy & Defense Development using U.S. Department of Energy funds as part of a program to increase the use of renewable energy in Indiana.  The use of renewable energy is an integral part of the state's strategic energy plan, "Hoosier Homegrown Energy."
