Duties

  • Consumer phone calls. Answer consumer questions, research, and respond to consumer issues and complaints, and record consumer issues and complaints in LeadMaster database.
  • Consumer emails and letters. Answer consumer questions, research and respond to consumer issues and complaints, and record consumer issues and complaints in LeadMaster database.
  • Consumer Advocacy correspondence. Respond in writing to offices of the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney General.

Qualifications

  • Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Some related college coursework, preferred.
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of two (2) or more years of Consumer Relations experience using the following skills: active listening, conflict resolution, documentation, and telephone etiquette. The successful candidate will possess professional written communication skills and solid working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and order fulfillment software.

Programmer Analyst

Programmer Analyst

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Description & Duties

The primary thrust of your role will be to verify business processes, migrate and convert our ERP applications code from Vantage to Epicor 10, and convert reports from Crystal to Microsoft SQL reporting services.

Reporting to the Lead Developer, your accountabilities will include:

  • Application Development — 70%
    Developing customizations for the ERP system...Developing applications that integrate with Epicor 10...Testing and debugging developed software.
  • ERP Application Support — 20%
    Website maintenance and programming...Monitoring and maintaining the security of the web server...Providing support and training to Users of application software.
  • Line Software Support — 10%
    Assist Users with software and hardware issues...Assist the Systems Engineering team with projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:
  • A minimum of two years of related experience with application development, ERP application support and line software support as an Intern or project participant.
  • Demonstrated skill with C#, VB.Net, or .Net programming languages.
  • High School degree or equivalent, and College-level coursework in software development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AS or BS degree in Computer Science, Software Applications and Programming, or related field.

Embedded Software Engineer

Description

Our mission is to bring energy efficient products and technologies to our Customers. This position supports the product development of geothermal heat pumps for residential and commercial applications, with industry-leading functionalities that efficiently deliver the highest levels of comfort and system performance.

Duties

The Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for the design and development of product controls, analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation of real-time embedded software for the WaterFurnace products, and support of Engineering teams and other internal customers on controls-related matters.

Reporting to the Manager - Embedded Controls, your duties would include the following:

  • Analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation of real-time embedded software.
  • Analysis of product application needs and field issues, integrating inputs from Sales, Marketing, Warranty, and Field Technical resources into software design.
  • Writing program code, documenting the step-by-step engineering architecture development process that was followed. Write ECO's for releasing the code and specification. Contribute to the creation of the product manual.
  • Writing test procedures and supporting field and lab testing to ensure efficient and effective systems operation that meets design requirements.
  • Participating in software inspections and design reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering; Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing embedded applications with programming in C, Assembly language.
  • Good working knowledge of networking protocols (Modbus, BACnet, LON, TCP/IP).
  • Experience with engineering tools such as debuggers, emulators, version control, compilers/assemblers.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, time management skills, and demonstrated ability to work in self-directed fashion.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing embedded applications on Microchip PIC microprocessors
  • HVAC Controls System Design experience

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position will produce visual solutions for the web, print and video that fit seamlessly into our existing materials. WaterFurnace handles nearly all marketing efforts internally so creative thinking and a love for continuous learning are essential for success. Our team is very close and always has a lot of fun, but the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines is vital. The ideal candidate will balance creative thinking with an attention to detail and self-motivation.

Duties

Assist Dealers with application challenges
  • Answer unit selection and application questions, including sizing analysis
  • Assist with quotes and order details
Respond to Customer Inquires
  • Find solutions to specific end user consumer questions
Assist Dealers with Training Schools, Shows, and Trade Initiatives
  • Participate in Dealer and Industry trade shows
  • Schedule and host Dealer training schools (with Trainers)
  • Train Dealers on WaterFurnace programs, including marketing allowances and warranty
  • Promote WaterFurnace geothermal solutions by allying with electric utilities, builders and green living advocates

Qualifications

  • Education Requirements: High School Diploma, or equivalent required. BS/BA preferred.
  • Experience Requirements: At least five (5) years experience in B2B sales. Skilled with development and delivery of PowerPoint presentations. HVAC or geothermal contracting experience, preferred. Candidates should be comfortable leveraging the Internet and technology to drive sales. The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills with time- and territory-management, be a self-starter, and work well independently. Established relationships with area HVAC Dealers and utilities a plus.
