WaterFurnace International, Inc., the most respected name in geothermal heat pumps, seeks a dedicated Engineering professional to support the ongoing product development, testing, and manufacturing of Chiller units for commercial and industrial applications.

Our mission is to bring energy efficient products and technologies to the Commercial Market. This position supports the manufacture of speciality chillers and geothermal heat pumps for large commercial and industrial applications, with unique functionalities that include building automation and remote monitoring software that work together to optimize equipment performance.

Description

Reporting to the VP — Product Management and Customer Services, you will contribute technical expertise and strategies for positioning all new and existing Commercial Applied products, interacting with manufacturer's representatives, contractors, architects, engineers, and key end users.

Your accountabilities will include the following:
  • Provide buying influences with prompt, accurate support for all commercial equipment and controls systems
  • Maintain a product and industry knowledge base related to new products and systems solutions
  • Provide effective input regarding suggested modifications to existing products and services to meet customer requirements
  • Provide definable feedback to Product Management for products and services not met by current offerings

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Technology
  • Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience with extensive Commercial Applied HVAC systems knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in chiller applications and design
  • Geothermal knowledge
  • Working knowledge with Applied Controls

Location: Goshen, IN

Our mission is to bring energy efficient products and technologies for commercial and industrial applications. Our specialty chillers feature unique functionalities that include building automation and remote monitoring software that work together to optimize equipment performance.

Description

Our Assemblers combine their skills and efforts in a team environment.


Your accountabilities will include the following:
  • Use powered hand tools, brazing torch, lift tables, hand-held scanner, and forklift.
  • Install couplers, vacuum lines, copper tubing, wiring, and sheet metal panels.
  • Cross-train on different assembly stations.
  • Schedule: Weekdays; 1st Shift.

Required Qualifications

  • High School degree or GED.
  • At least one (1) year of related experience.
  • Ability to lift heavy items.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related vocational coursework.
  • Welding experience.

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

We're seeking professional Customer Service professionals to process order entry from WFI's network of Dealers, as well as offer solutions for our Dealers' applications and challenges. This position partners closely with Territory Managers and Regional Managers.

Required Qualifications

At least one (1) year of related experience. Experience as a Customer Service Representative with significant in-bound telephone experience in a commercial or business-to-business environment is preferred.

The successful candidate will draw upon the following skills and competencies:

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Vantage or similar order fulfillment software experience, helpful.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on routine tasks, as well as a team member when solving problems that require a collaborative effort.
  • Professional verbal and written communication; attention to detail; eagerness to learn and take on additional responsibility.
  • Courtesy combined with a sense of urgency.

Senior Controls Engineer / HVAC Technician

Location: Goshen, IN

Description

WaterFurnace International, the most respected name in geothermal heat pumps and large chillers for commercial applications, seeks a skilled professional to create embedded controls programming for various product applications.

Duties

Reporting to the Vice President — Product Management & Customer Services, the duties and responsibilities of the Senior Controls Engineer include the following:

  • Design, implement, modify, and maintain the control system for Heat Pumps and Chillers. Further, implement sophisticated heat pump solutions into complex building environments.
  • Installation (commissioning), diagnosing, and repair of environmental-control systems both at the factory and at job locations, utilizing knowledge of electronics, direct digital control, airflow, hydronic, refrigeration theory, and control and mechanical techniques.
  • End to end testing, programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects. Represents the company by serving as the direct customer contact and is responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer's location.
  • Uses cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units. Demonstrated proficiency with Jace Niagara AX and automated logic web control series.
  • Regular travel requirements with occasional overnight stays. Displays team effort and dedication to customer by maintaining flexibility to work as the business requires.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or higher level of education or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of experience working with Applied HVAC Controls.
  • 2 years of experience with IT networks.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent Communication skills oral and written.
  • Strong time management skills must be a self-motivator
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience working with fire alarm and/or security systems.
  • Experience with system integration, networking and software interfaces.
